Biography
Dr. Luis Roberto Trivellini is a hair restoration surgeon from Paraguay. He was credited by the ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery) in 2021 with more than 30 years in hair restoration, that is, since the early 1990s.
According to the ISHRS, he created the multiphasic FUE device, its function, its punch and its technique for long-hair FUE. He invented the Mamba device and founded Mamba Instruments; today Trivellini Tech offers the Pulsar and Nano units.
He founded and chaired the Paraguayan Society of Hair Restoration Surgery and founded the Latin American FUE Workshop. His system is used beyond his own clinic: Bernstein Medical in New York works with the Trivellini system, and the ISHRS live surgery workshop in Florence (2022) demonstrated long-hair FUE with his Mamba device.
His collaboration with TrichoSuite is part of the project core: his experience and his reading of real operating-room workflows inform how the software manages surgical data, technique documentation and results tracking.

Multiphasic FUE device
Programmable device that can cut the different tissue layers in a single program, with minimal graft transection (Skinmed, 2019).
Octagonal Ring Punch
Multipurpose punch for varied skin and hair types, with an octagonal ring that controls the trajectory into the deeper dermis and a dull, notched edge usable for long-hair and shaved FUE (J Cosmet Dermatol, 2021).
Preview Long Hair FUE
FUE without shaving the donor area. The Preview Long Hair technique is by Marcelo Pitchon (ISHRS 2021 Golden Follicle Award); the ISHRS credits Trivellini with the device, punch and technique for long-hair FUE.
T-Fast Multi-Implanter
Two-needle implanter that places two grafts at once and lets several implanters be held in one hand; according to the paper, it reduces surgical time and cost per patient (HTF International, 2021).
