The diary is the tool the front desk opens most often every day. In TrichoSuite it brings together three pieces.
Diary
An appointment calendar for assessments, surgeries and follow-ups. Starter has a basic diary; Professional is multi-professional so surgeon, technicians and front desk work from the same view. Appointment deposits (a booking fee) have their own handling, and public links exist for patients to book or join a waiting list.
Waiting room
A view designed for a screen in the clinic: who is being seen now, who is next, how many people are waiting and a button to call the next one. Calling a patient updates their appointment.
Reminders
They are scheduled per appointment, with channel, recipient and send time. The reminders screen shows how many are scheduled, sent, delivered and failed, and lets you retry or resend one, send it now or cancel it. Knowing which ones failed is what stops you discovering the no-show on the day.
What it does not do
- A reminder does not guarantee the patient turns up; it reduces the chance the appointment is forgotten and records whether the notice arrived.
- Sync with external calendars and online-booking integrations depend on what each clinic configures; check it in a demo before taking it for granted.
Which pain it addresses
Clashing appointments, unforeseen no-shows and front desks acting as switchboards: The front desk that cannot keep up. It works alongside the AI agents, which can handle calls and messages about appointments.
