In a process that lasts months, comparison between visits is the part that gets lost most when photos do not follow an order. This feature covers three things.
Photo gallery
Photos are organised by patient and by standardised angles, with dates, so the same framing can be compared at different points in time. There is a before and after view and an evolution timeline.
Milestone-based follow-up
When a procedure is recorded, the system can generate the follow-up milestones automatically. Each milestone has a status (pending, photo submitted, reviewed, completed or missed), is flagged overdue when the date passes and shows overall progress and the next milestone. The professional adds their own notes; the patient adds theirs.
Photos submitted by the patient
The patient uploads their review photos from the patient portal; they land on the matching milestone and the professional reviews, annotates and replies. It is documentation follow-up, not remote diagnosis: anything needing an in-person assessment gets an appointment.
Comparing the 3D model
Besides photos, two 3D scans of the same patient can be compared.
What it does not do
- It does not automatically assess the result or promise one. The analysis is done by the professional.
- Clinical photographs are health data: using them in marketing requires the patient's specific consent, which is managed separately in the record.
Which pain it addresses
Records with photos on everyone's phone and no comparison point: The cost of a scattered patient record. The clinic's aggregate results are covered in reports and surveys.
