TrichoLAB presents itself as software for "3D planning, trichoscopy and research"1. TrichoSuite is a clinic management suite with scanning and a calculator included. They do not solve exactly the same thing, which is why this comparison matters: the question is not which is better but which part of your clinic you need to cover. General context is in the market analysis.

Pros and cons
TrichoLAB
- Pros: clear specialisation in planning and trichoscopy; reports designed for the patient; hairline and evolution simulation.
- Cons (as far as we could verify): no public prices, we saw no clinic-management modules on the pages reviewed, and equipment requirements are not detailed on them.
TrichoSuite
- Pros: everything in one record (management, scanning, calculator, AI front-of-house); public prices; 30-day money-back guarantee; no lock-in on monthly billing.
- Cons: scanning requires Apple devices with LiDAR; trichoscopy is not our focus; we are a suite, so for pure single-workflow planning a specialised tool may go deeper.
When to choose TrichoLAB
- Your priority is trichoscopy and planning, and you already have management software you are happy with.
- You want polished planning reports to show the patient.
- You do not mind having the record in two programs.
When to choose TrichoSuite
- You want a single record for diary, photos, consents, quote and surgery (the scattered-records problem).
- You need to answer calls and messages (the overloaded front desk) and measure the funnel (quotes that do not close).
Both can coexist: TrichoLAB for planning, TrichoSuite for the rest. If you do that, ask how data moves between the two, because we assume no integration.
