A clinic does not work inside a single tool: it has a calendar it already uses, a WhatsApp number, a payment gateway, a phone. This article explains, without technical language, what TrichoSuite connects to today. We checked it against the platform's code; whatever does not exist yet is marked as such.
How it is built, in one sentence
The clinical portal, the patient portal and the iPhone app all talk to the same TrichoSuite API. Every connection to a third party hangs off that API, with keys encrypted per clinic and signed notifications so nobody outside can pose as the external service.
What exists today
Calendars: Google and Outlook
Each clinic can connect its Google Calendar or Outlook calendar with the usual authorisation flow (OAuth, no passwords shared). Future appointments sync to the calendar and, if the appointment is a video call, the link appears in the event description. More on scheduling in scheduling, waiting room and reminders.
WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger
WhatsApp messages (through Twilio) and Instagram and Messenger messages (through Meta) land in the clinic's inbox, and the chatbot can reply and hand the conversation to a person. How it is used: AI voice, WhatsApp and chatbot agents and CRM, leads and campaigns.
AI voice: AgenteUno
The clinic assigns a phone number (from Telnyx or Twilio) to an AgenteUno agent in settings. If the number has no agent assigned, the screen itself warns that nobody answers yet. The connection is available to set up; no calls from a real clinic have been answered through it yet.
Payments: Stripe
The clinic's subscription is charged with Stripe, and clinics can ask for a deposit at booking with a payment link that the front desk generates when giving the appointment. For the partner programme there is also settlement through Stripe Connect, meant for sharing commissions, not for charging patients.
Tax invoicing: VeriFACTU
Invoices are sent to the Spanish Tax Agency with the retries and corrections of the VeriFACTU system. Explained in quotes, invoices and VeriFACTU and in the VeriFACTU guide for clinics.
3D scanner: iPhone with LiDAR
The iPhone and iPad app with LiDAR rebuilds the scalp model on the device and sends it to the patient record: 3D scanning with LiDAR.
Pulsar fleet
Pulsar machines from Trivellini Tech are registered in a fleet portal that shows which machines are on, what version they run, where they are and their health. The model is "pull": the portal pushes nothing to the machine, the machine asks whether there are updates. The machine can also request the day plan with the patients and the 3D mesh with the zones the doctor painted. Delivery of updates to production machines is switched off on purpose until versions are cryptographically signed. A real use case: the Trivellini clinic case study.
Academy: LearnSuite
When LearnSuite issues a course certificate, it notifies TrichoSuite with a signed message and the certificate becomes a partnership-type lead in the clinic's CRM, without duplicating one that already existed.
Access security
Sign-in with Keycloak, passkeys and two-factor authentication. The keys of each integration are stored encrypted.
What does not exist yet
- A documented public API for third parties. Today the API serves TrichoSuite's own applications. The open documentation that exists covers custom domains and white label; "API access" appears as an Enterprise plan capability, but there is no public developer reference. If you need to integrate a specific system (an ERP, accounting software), tell us in the demo.
- VideoSuite. Video consultations with the patient inside TrichoSuite do not exist yet: they are roadmap, with no date, and so is the VideoSuite integration for them. An appointment can carry a video call link from any provider, which travels to the calendar, but that is only a link. Today VideoSuite is used for the Pulsar fleet team's meetings and reads its member directory.
- Quotes in the patient's language. The PDF is generated in Spanish; the multilingual version is pending.
- Tracking Pulsar parts and consumables. There is usage telemetry for the machines, but no per-part lifetime counter or replacement alerts: that is roadmap.
Frequently asked questions
Can I connect my Google Calendar or Outlook?
Yes. You connect it from settings with the usual Google or Microsoft authorisation and future appointments sync to your calendar. You can disconnect at any time.
Is there a public API for developers?
Not yet. The API exists and TrichoSuite's own apps use it, but there is no public reference for third parties. It is the first limit worth knowing if you want to integrate your own systems.
What if I need an integration that is not listed here?
Ask for it in the demo and tell us which system you use. It is the best way to learn what enters the work plan, and we will say clearly if it is not planned.
To start using all this with your team, follow the getting started with TrichoSuite guide; for the economics, the return on investment; and if what you lack is order in your data, the cost of a scattered record explains the underlying problem.
