Dr. Luis Roberto Trivellini's clinic in Málaga is a special case: the same team that operates with FUE also designs Trivellini Tech's Pulsar machines and is TrichoSuite's clinical collaborator. That makes it a good example of how the two fit together. This article describes the workflow and the capabilities. It does not include results, metrics or testimonials from the clinic: we have not published any and we do not invent them.
Who is who
- Dr. Luis Roberto Trivellini: a pioneer surgeon in FUE and in the Long Hair technique; his career is in his profile and his method in Long Hair FUE.
- Pulsar: Trivellini Tech's extraction and implantation machine, explained in the Trivellini system.
- TrichoSuite: the clinic management platform, from the first consultation to follow-up.
A patient's journey
1. First contact
Anyone who writes or calls gets an answer from the AI channels and the conversation reaches the clinic in order (AI agents). The contact is stored as a lead in the CRM (CRM, leads and campaigns).
2. The consultation
In consultation, the record gathers history, photos and consents (patient record and consents). The 3D scan with iPhone measures the area of each zone and the graft calculator proposes the number of units. The quote is built from that (quotes and invoices).
3. The surgery plan reaches the machine
The doctor paints the zones on the patient's 3D model. The Pulsar machine can ask the platform for the day plan: the day's patients, the photo and the 3D mesh with the marked zones. It is a request the machine makes; the platform sends it nothing on its own. Access is limited to the clinic and the relevant day. This connection is under development: the server side is ready and it is tested with a web Pulsar simulator, but the capability is not yet switched on in the clinic's machine.
4. In the operating room
The team records the surgery with the surgical panel and graft counter. Planning on the 3D model is still evolving.
5. Follow-up
Follow-up photos from the patient portal, compared against the baseline (photos and follow-up), and reminders for check-ups (scheduling and reminders).
The machine fleet
Since Trivellini Tech is the manufacturer, the team also uses the fleet portal: it shows which machines are on and operating, the version each one runs and its health, and a map by country. A machine reports its status roughly every half minute and is considered off after two minutes with no news. Updates are requested by the machine and are not pushed from the portal; delivery to production machines is switched off on purpose until versions are cryptographically signed. For support there is a remote access session that is requested, granted with an expiry and can be revoked.
What this case teaches
- That data is born once: the scan measurement serves the quote, the plan and the follow-up at the same time.
- That the machine and the management software talk: the surgical plan is not retyped by hand.
- That the clinic controls what leaves it: every access is filtered by clinic and logged.
What this case does not prove
There are also no video consultations inside TrichoSuite today and no tracking of the machine's part lifetimes (only usage telemetry): both are roadmap. There is no measured before and after here. We do not say how much time is saved or how many more patients are seen. If you want to know what it could yield in your clinic, the calculation with your own assumptions is in the return on investment, and the connections to other systems are in API and integrations.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Pulsar machine to use TrichoSuite?
No. TrichoSuite works with any equipment; the Pulsar connection is an addition for clinics that have these machines.
Is the surgery plan connection to the machine available yet?
It is under development and tested with a simulator. We do not present it as available for production.
Where can I see how TrichoSuite compares with other options?
In the analysis of the hair transplant clinic software market and in each comparison. To start, the getting started guide.
